Jaipur: In the second phase of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections in four districts of Rajasthan, a total voter turnout of 68.57 percent was recorded on Wednesday. According to a spokesperson of the State Election Commission, polling was held in Baran, Kota, Ganganagar and Karauli districts from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm.
The spokesman said that the voter turnout was 68.57 percent. The first phase of polling will be held on December 12 and the third phase will be held on December 18. Counting of votes will take place on December 21 at all district headquarters.
