BJP’s first-time MLA Bhajan Lal Sharma will take oath as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan on Friday, December 15. Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa will be sworn-in as his deputies.

Rajasthan CM-designate and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP)’s first-time MLA Bhajan Lal Sharma will take oath as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan on Friday, December 15. Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa will also take oath as Deputy Chief Ministers of the state. They will be administered the oath by Governor Kalraj Mishra.

The saffron party is set to form its government in Rajasthan after it registered a massive victory by winning 115 seats in the recently concluded Assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Congress party secured just 69 seats.

Rajasthan CM Oath Ceremony: Deputy CM-Designate Prem Chand Bairwa Offers Prayers at Jaipur Temple

Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony, Rajasthan Deputy CM-designate Dr Prem Chand Bairwa was seen offering prayers at Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple in Jaipur.

“…I never had any expectations for a ticket neither for this post. Whatever responsibility the party gives me, I do it with full honesty. Under Congress’s rule in the last five years, Rajasthan has gone backwards…They have cheated the people of Rajasthan…” Bairwa was quoted as saying.

Rajasthan CM Oath Ceremony: PM Modi, Amit Shah to Attend Swearing-in

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be present at the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will also be seen at the ceremony.
