Anirudh, the tourism minister’s son, is believed to be close to Congress leader and former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot, who plunged the state into a political crisis in 2020 by rebelling against the Ashok Gehlot government.

Rajasthan minister Vishvendra Singh’s son has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi Accused of insulting the country on foreign soil and attacked the party’s government in the state, saying it did not care about the problems of the people.

Anirudh, the tourism minister’s son, is believed to be close to Congress leader and former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot, who plunged the state into a political crisis in 2020 by rebelling against the Ashok Gehlot government.

Singh, who also rebelled against Chief Minister Gehlot, lost his cabinet post but was later reinstated after talks with the Congress leadership.

He said, ‘He (Rahul Gandhi) has gone mad. One who insults his own country in the Parliament of another country. Or maybe he considers Italy his motherland,” Anirudh said in a tweet.

Speaking at an event in London, Gandhi alleged that the structures of Indian democracy were under “brutal attack” and expressed regret that the democratic parts of the world, including the US and Europe, had failed to notice it.

“Can’t he speak all this nonsense in India? Or does he genetically prefer European soil?” tweeted Anirudh. He mentioned in his Twitter bio – “An independent voice.

Anirudh also commented on the demand of the families of the CRPF jawans of Rajasthan, who were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack, that they should be given state government jobs on compassionate grounds. They have been protesting since February 28 regarding their demand.

“This will continue forever. The Congress party does not care about such matters – they think these matters are too trivial to bother their Italian handlers!” Anirudh said in response to the tweet demonstrating the families.
