Rajasthan news: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today (June 9) said that his government’s schemes were launched after studying them to benefit the people permanently and were not election-centric. Addressing a public meeting in Sikar district of the state, he said that the aim of the government is to serve the people and it is working for the benefit of every section of the society.

The state government has implemented welfare schemes like Purani Pension Yojana, Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme and Social Security Pension Scheme after studying them, said Gehlot, a senior Congress leader, and insisted that “these were not election-oriented, but permanent”. Were” .

He said, “The aim of the state government is to make Rajasthan the leading state of the country in every field. Everyone’s cooperation is needed to fulfill this objective.” The Chief Minister said that every section of the society is benefiting from the schemes of the state government, he claimed that Rajasthan has become a leading state in the field of education.

He said, “303 colleges have been opened so far during the tenure of our government. Universities have been opened in Sikar, Alwar and Bharatpur.” Gehlot said that the state government has decided to upgrade schools with 500 girl students to colleges to promote girl education.

Gehlot said former prime minister Manmohan Singh took “revolutionary” decisions to implement the Right to Education Act, the Right to Information Act and the Food Security Act. Similarly, the Rajasthan government has also implemented Right to Health (RTH) for a healthy Rajasthan and has provided economic and social support to the people by increasing the amount of social security pension.

The Chief Minister said that the Central Government should also implement the Social Security Act equally in the country. Earlier, the Chief Minister interacted with the people while visiting the “Inflation Relief Camp”.

Congress Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasara, Industries Minister Shakuntala Rawat and MLA Mahadev Singh Khandela also addressed the public meeting.

Later Gehlot also addressed a rally in Jhunjhunu district.
