Kota: Two people died and one was seriously injured in Kota district when the bike they were riding went out of control and hit a divider, police said on Friday.
He said that the incident happened on Thursday evening when three friends riding Bullet Enfield met with an accident while allegedly performing bike stunts on the DCM flyover.
The deceased have been identified as Chandan Rathore (26) of DCM area and Shiva Kumawat (30) of Prem Nagar area, while the injured have been identified as Rahul Panchal of Govind Nagar, police said.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their relatives after the postmortem on Friday morning and the injured are still unconscious and are undergoing treatment.
According to Manoj Singh Sikarwal, SHO, Udyog Nagar police station, Shiva was riding a motorcycle while two of his friends Chandan and Rahul were going backwards when the bike collided with the divider.
All three were thrown from the bike and suffered serious head injuries, he said.
They were sent to the hospital, where doctors declared Chandan and Shiva brought dead, he said.
The third friend, Rahul, was seriously injured in the incident and his condition is still stated to be critical, they said.
Sikarwal said that a case has been registered under relevant sections and investigation is on to gather more information about the incident.
He said the motorcycle belonged to Shiva, who had done a polytechnic diploma and had recently got a job in a private firm.
