Following the order of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, loudspeakers installed at 10 thousand 923 religious places in the state have been removed. Also, the volume of 35 thousand 221 has been reduced. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray has praised this action in UP.

In a post on social media, Raj said, “I wholeheartedly congratulate and am grateful to the Yogi government for removing loudspeakers from religious places, especially mosques.”

Apart from this, Raj Thackeray has also targeted the Maha Vikas Aghadi government. He wrote, ‘Unfortunately there is no ‘Yogi’ in Maharashtra. We have only ‘Bhogi’. We wish that the Maharashtra government gets goodwill.

Raj has given an ultimatum to take off the loudspeaker by May 3
The MNS chief has appealed to the Uddhav government to take similar action in Maharashtra. Let us inform that Raj Thackeray has given an ultimatum to remove all loudspeakers from the mosques of the state by May 3. If not doing so, it has been said to remove it in MNS style. Raj Thackeray’s rally is to be held in Aurangabad on May 1. However, that has not been approved yet and Section 144 has been imposed in the urban area till May 9.

Workers of Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena will perform ‘Maha Aarti’ at their local temples across the state on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on May 3. This aarti will be done through loudspeaker.

Compliance of 2018 order in UP
Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that this action has been taken on the instructions of the government to ensure compliance of the order of 2018 of the High Court. So far, 40 thousand meetings have been held at the police station level with religious leaders and committees of shrines under the campaign. As per the mutual coordination in these meetings, 10,923 illegal loudspeakers installed at religious places have been removed and 35,221 have been fixed as per the sound standard.
