Over the years, Bollywood celebrities have talked about the famous and ‘wild’ Holi parties held at RK Studios. Reportedly, who are the Bollywood celebrities who attended the annual function and had a blast. Celebrities play with colors and throw each other in tubs full of water, besides, enjoy some lip-smacking snacks. Giving a glimpse of the same, Neetu Kapoor shared a rare throwback video on Instagram. Sharing the video, Neetu wrote, “We were full when love was hot. Happy Holi.”

The video has glimpses of men being thrown into a small pool of colored water, moreover, the guests have a blast dancing in their hearts. It also has some shots of Raj Kapoor. Apart from him, his wife Krishna Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor’s wife Neela Devi are also in the video. Neetu Kapoor was also seen with her son in her arms. Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor is also seen dancing with a group of people. Watch the video here:

RK Studios was the shooting location for some of RK Films’ classics such as “Aag” (1948), “Barsaat” (1949), “Awara” (1951), “Shree 420” (1955), “Jagte Raho”. “(1956), “Anari” (1959), “Sangam” (1964), “Mera Naam Joker” (1970), “Bobby” (1973), “Satyam Shivam Sundaram” (1978) and many more.

Legendary actor Raj Kapoor died in June 1988, after which some of his unfinished films like “Ram Teri Ganga Maili” (1989), “Henna” (1991) were also made here.

The iconic 71-year-old RK Studios was bought by realty major Godrej Properties Ltd. GPL had bought the 2.20-acre (about 100,000 sq ft) RK Studios complex in Chembur, northeast Mumbai – established in 1948 – which was gutted in a massive fire on September 16, 2017.
