Ranchi: It rained in different parts of the state including the capital on Sunday evening, indicating the onset of the weather system under the influence of a western disturbance. The Ranchi Meteorological Office of the India Meteorological Department issued a hailstorm alert in Jharkhand for the next 48 hours on Sunday afternoon.
The Met Office issued a special bulletin forecasting moderate thunderstorms with lightning and hailstorm in 18 districts on Monday, with the southern districts of Gumla being exempted.
