Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Inspects New Delhi-Ajmer Shatabdi Express, Talks to Commuters: Watch

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav visited New Delhi-Ajmer Shatabdi Express today. The minister inspected the train during his tour and also took feedback from the passengers present in the train. The video of the railway minister taking a first-hand assessment while boarding the train was shared on social media platforms. In the video, he can be seen interacting with the passengers during the journey.

In the video, the railway minister can be seen asking about the cleanliness of the train. Passengers can be heard giving positive feedback about the services on the train. Also, by the end of the video, Ashwini Vaishnav can be seen sitting with an official and talking about the functioning of the train. He also mentioned that the passengers informed him about the punctuality of the train on the route.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in a statement that Indian Railways will take a new initiative on this route. He told that the speed of the train will be increased by changing the track on the New Delhi-Ajmer route. Furthermore, he confirmed that Vande Bharat trains will be operated on the New Delhi-Jaipur route. The operation of the semi-high-speed train will begin after the completion of the trial and testing on the route.

Shatabdi Express trains are one of the special trains operated by the Indian Railways, which include Rajdhani, Duronto and others. These trains are generally used for short to medium distance to connect metro cities with other places which are important for tourism, pilgrimage or business. Furthermore, the train is one of the fastest in India and can be characterized by its distinctive gray and blue colour.
