Rahul Gandhi ED GrillingCongress workers on Thursday protested in several parts of the country, including Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan, over the Enforcement Directorate’s probe into the National Herald case against former party president Rahul Gandhi.

A two-wheeler was set on fire and some protesters were seen boarding a government city bus, while window panes of the bus were allegedly smashed by an agitator in Hyderabad. Due to the protest, there was heavy traffic in Khairatabad circle and adjoining areas. The protesters raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the police. As part of a call to “Chalo Raj Bhavan” given by the Telangana unit of the Congress, the police foiled the protesters’ attempts to lay siege to the Raj Bhavan, leading to mild tension.
