Rahul Gandhi has termed the sabotage incident as unfortunate. Rahul said- Violence does not solve any problem. People doing such things are irresponsible and children. I have no enmity with him and I have no anger for him.

On June 24, some people ransacked the Wayanad office of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Kerala. The Congress had accused the student SFI of being behind the incident. The party had said that SFI goons have also assaulted the staff present in the party office.

A video of the vandalism also surfaced, in which it was seen that some people climbed the windows of Rahul Gandhi’s office in Wayanad and started vandalizing. Some people had reached inside the office with SFI flags in their hands. There these people also raised slogans. Read full news…

Rahul won by more than 4 lakh votes
Rahul Gandhi won the Wayanad seat by a margin of over 4 lakh votes. He defeated his nearest CPI candidate PP Sunir. Rahul Gandhi got 706367 votes, while PP Sunir got 274597 votes. Rahul contested from Wayanad and Amethi simultaneously. He lost to BJP candidate Smriti Irani in Amethi, while he won from Wayanad.
