Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday condemned the blast at the district court complex in Punjab’s Ludhiana and demanded strict action against the culprits. Ludhiana Police said that one person was killed and three were injured in Thursday’s blast.
“Blast in Ludhiana is highly condemnable. My condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured. Strict action should be taken against the culprits at the earliest.”
The district court was functioning when the blast took place. Earlier, the police had claimed that two people had died in the blast, but later said that one person had died.
