Bollywood diva Parineeti Chopra is all set to tie the knot with AAP politician Raghav Chadha in a lavish ceremony hosted in Udaipur. The pre-wedding festivities of the couple kick-started on September 20 including an Ardaas and Mehendi, which was followed by a Sufi night in New Delhi. The grand affair in the “City of Lakes” Udaipur will begin on Saturday, September 23 with the couple finally getting hitched on September 24. It is suggested most of the celebrations are scheduled to take place at the Leela Palace but the two will likely exchange vows at the stunning Taj Lake. Many prominent faces from the entertainment and political world will attend the grand affair. Here’s taking a quick look at Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s wedding guest list.
Who will attend the ceremony?
When it comes to politicians, it is reported that the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, CM of Punjab Bhagwat Mann, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and Chattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel will make an appearance at the wedding. Buzz also has it that celebrities who Parineeti Chopra shares a close bond with including Sania Mirza and Karan Johar are likely to attend the occasion. Fashion maverick Manish Malhotra who has reportedly designed the wedding ensembles of the bride and groom will also pay a visit. Apart from this, Bollywood figures including Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Arjun Kapoor are suggested to be on the soon-to-be-married couple’s guest list.
Amidst this, Parineeti’s elder sister Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ presence at the ceremony has also become a massive talk of the town. The Citadel actress is likely to attend the wedding festivities along with her year-and-a-half-old toddler Malti Marie. However, it remains unclear if the Jonas Brothers’ lead vocalist and Priyanka Chopra’s husband Nick Jonas will accompany his wife for the big day.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s Sufi Night:
The Sufi night organised in New Delhi was a star-studded event attended by Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, her brother Sidharth, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Sunil Sethi, and Pawan Sachdeva among others. Several inside photos and videos from the ceremony went viral on the internet, including an impromptu Bhangra performance of the bride and the groom with Harbhajan Singh.
The engagement ceremony of the couple was held in May.
