Radhe Shyam Box Office: Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s film earned 151 crores, struggle in Hindi belt

Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam is getting mixed response. While some praised the film, others called it “unbearable to watch”. However, despite everything, the film is doing good business at the box office. According to the makers of Radhe Shyam, the film has collected Rs 151 crore so far.

On Monday, the makers released a new poster of the film on social media. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala also shared this on his Twitter handle. It has been told in the poster that Radhe Shyam has earned Rs 151 crore in its opening weekend. However, according to the report of Box Office India, the Hindi version of the film has so far earned only Rs 14 crore.

Meanwhile, Radhey Shyam is facing tough competition from The Kashmir Files in the Hindi circuit. On Monday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office figures of the film and mentioned that the film took a big jump on the third day with a growth of 325.35% in its collections. The Kashmir Files, which earned Rs 3.55 crore and Rs 8.50 crore on Friday and Saturday, respectively, collected Rs 15.10 crore on Sunday. That is, the total collection of the film so far is Rs 27.15 crore.

Talking about Radhe Shyam, this film was released on 11 March. It presents Prabhas as a palmist whose predictions are never wrong. However, things take a turn after Pooja Hegde falls in love. What follows is a tragic love story. Apart from Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, the film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Kunal Roy Kapur, Priyadarshi, Murli Sharma, Bhagyashree, Satyan and Riddhi Kumar in pivotal roles. News18’s review of the film said, “The film lacks two essentials. At first there is no chemistry seen between Prabhas and Pooja. Their journey to fall in love is often cut abruptly to add a few comic scenes that don’t generate any laughs. Second, the love story is not clear enough. It’s no surprise that the tangled mess that goes on for more than two hours doesn’t touch anyone’s heart. There are so many meaningless scenes and characters that don’t make sense.”

Radhe Shyam is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi and Pramod.
