Meanwhile, party’s national convener Arvind Kejrival He also urged people to attend the swearing-in ceremony of his “younger brother” on March 16 as he himself would also be present there.
Kejriwal tweeted, “Bhagat Singh’s dreams will come true. On March 16, the whole of Punjab will take oath along with my younger brother. I will attend the program with the people of Punjab. I request everyone to join.”
Aam Aadmi Party got a massive victory in Punjab Meeting Election. Mann, who was the party’s chief ministerial candidate, will take oath on March 16 at Khatkar Kalan, the native village of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
It is worth mentioning that Mann has invited Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal for the swearing-in ceremony.
Mann, who is contesting from Dhuri assembly constituency in Sangrur district, won by a margin of 58,206 votes over Dalveer Singh Goldy of INC.
AAP registered a landslide victory in the Punjab elections with 92 seats, leaving most of its rivals on the margins. The Congress won 18 seats in the 117-member assembly.
