The case of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI trapping Indian citizens in honey traps and making them intelligence agents has come to the fore. Two such spies have been caught by the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) of Punjab Police. Both of them were arrested from outside Amritsar railway station. One of these agents was sending Indian Army information to Pakistan for 17 years. He trapped another person in his trap and engaged him in gathering intelligence.

Both were selling lemon soda outside the railway station for many years. The SSOC team arrested both the Pakistani agents under special operation, but are not confirming the arrest. The accused have been identified as Zafar Riaz, a resident of Ostagarlane in Beniapukar village of Kolkata and Shamshad of Bheja village in Madhuban district of Bihar. Pictures of Amritsar Air Force and Indian Army have also been touched by both.

Zafar went to Pakistan in 2005

Riyaz has informed the police that he had gone to Pakistan in 2005, where he met a girl named Rabiya. Both fell in love and both got married. When Riyaz had an accident there, he settled there. Rabia made him meet ISI officer Avesh. After some time, Riyaz brought Rabia with him to India. For 17 years, he has been collecting information of the Indian Army and sending it to Pakistan.

Shamshad was also prepared

Riyaz also joined Shamshad, a soda seller outside Amritsar railway station. After this, both he and Shamshad together started collecting information about the Indian Army and sending them to Pakistan.

Phone calls revealed the secret

This secret was revealed in front of SSOC after a few calls, which were happening between Pakistan and these two agents. The Special Wing of Punjab Police started keeping an eye on both of them. When sufficient evidence was found against both, the SSOC team arrested both of them from outside the railway station.

Gathering information about Rabia

Riyaz, who worked as an agent for ISI, had married a woman named Rabia in Pakistan and brought her to India. Now the team of SSOC is engaged in gathering information about this Rabia. The interrogation of the accused is still going on and more arrests are likely to be made in this case soon.
