Renowned Tollywood director R Narayana Murthy attended the success party as the chief guest. At the event’s press meet, he praised the team of Shyam Singha Roy and praised Nani’s performance in the film. Murthy called Nani the Aamir Khan of Telugu cinema. The director was praised for Nani’s choice of films.

During the event, Murthy addressed Nani as a ‘mind-blowing perfectionist and an amazing actor’. He said that Nani has a huge fan following and leaves an impact on the masses. The director said that he could not stop clapping for Nani’s performance in the action sequences. The filmmaker said that Nani is full of heroic qualities.

Released on December 24, Shyam Singha Roy has been attracting good people from the cinema houses despite facing competition from big films like Pushpa and Akhand.

Shyam Singha Roy director Rahul Sankrityan also addressed the program and appealed to the audience to watch the film in theatres.

Nani, Sai Pallavi and Kriti Shetty were present at the success party of the film, while Nani opted for a simple look in a kurta and jeans, while Sai Pallavi was seen in a red sari. Kriti Shetty wore an Indo Western dress for the event. According to reports, Shyam Singha Roy has earned Rs 30.50 crore in its first weekend. The film has been released worldwide in many languages.

In the film, Nani Vasu is playing the role of a young man and revolutionary writer Shyam Singha Roy. Set in 1970s Kolkata, the story and plot of the film is based on the concept of reincarnation.
