Actor R. Madhavan’s son Vedant Madhavan has made the country proud by winning a gold medal at the Danish Open in Copenhagen.
Interestingly, Vedanta had won a silver medal for India in the same competition a few days back.
Madhavan took to social media to share the good news. “And so, the winning streak continues even today. Vedanta Madhavan won the gold medal at the Denmark Open,” he said and thanked everyone who helped Vedanta achieve that.

Many people including celebrities have congratulated both Madhavan and Vedant for the youngster’s achievement.
Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu, who was among the first to congratulate, said, “Very proud. God bless her. More power to her.”
Actress Keerthy Suresh also congratulated Vedant. He tweeted, “Congratulations to the champion Vedanta Madhavan. Your achievement is an inspiration to all!! Congratulation to the proud father Madi Sir.”

This is not the first time that Vedanta has won medals in swimming. Last year, the 16-year-old swimmer had won four silver medals and three bronze medals at the 47th Junior National Aquatic Championships held in Bangalore.
Earlier in March last year, Vedanta won a bronze medal in the Latvian Open Swimming Champions event.
