According to the press release of IIT Kharagpur, the institute ranked 37th in Mineral and Mining Engineering in 2022, 44th in 2021 and 80th in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 90th in 2021.

“In the QS rankings, IIT Kharagpur is ranked among India’s top three domestically. According to a university official, Jadavpur University was ranked fifth among the top 500 best Indian universities in arts and humanities internationally in the QS World University Rankings by Subjects 2022.
Along with Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, and IIT Mumbai, Jadavpur University and IIT Delhi are ranked in the top 401-450 in the world.
According to the spokesperson, Jadavpur University is the first state university in India to be listed in the QS World University Rankings in Arts and Humanities in 2022.
