Bhiwandi: A day later PVR Haseen Theater stopped The . screening of k files On Saturday, it said it would screen it from Sunday after protests by BJP and RSS workers.
On Friday evening, during the first day of the show, it put the film on hold due to a technical snag.
When the audience created an uproar and the police were called, the film resumed but subsequent shows were cancelled. Angry cinema lovers protested inside, prompting Nizampura police to reach there to control the situation. It claimed that it gave refunds to those who booked tickets. On Saturday, BJP workers met a PVR representative and senior police officials, following which PVR decided to show the film.
Santosh Shetty, BJP Bhiwandi The district president said, “The PVR representative did not give the reason for stopping the screening in the meeting but after our protest, he promised to show it from Sunday.”
