Allu Arjun’s movie Pushpa: The Rise, was a huge box office success when it was released in December 2021. Directed by Sukumar, the film became one of the most successful in the country and one of the biggest blockbusters of 2021.
Social media is swamped with the videos of the song “Srivalli” since everyone attempts to jump on the bandwagon and nail the hook step of the song.
Srivalli song drew not just Indian but also international interest. David Warner, an Australian batsman, has also shown his passion for Pushpa music in various videos posted on his Instagram page. Songs from the album went viral on the internet owing to multilingual covers and Insta Reels.
Chandrabose wrote the film’s soundtrack and was sung by Sid Sriram and composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The Indian version of the song “Srivalli” is sung by Javed Ali.
Recently, Emma Heesters, a Dutch singer made an English version of Pushpa’s “Srivalli.”
This song is not only loved by the general public but music director Devi Sri Prasad also tweeted about it.
He wrote by tagging Sid Sriram and Emma, “Loved this, Hey @sidsriram bro, I told U when we recorded, lets do an English version 4 Fun, but here’s a lovely cover by @emmaheesters. May be we shud do our version too”
This is not the first time Emma attempt a Hindi song. She often covers Bollywood and Punjabi songs and translates them into English. She has a youtube fan base of over 50 lakh subscribers.
