Sidhu, who was defeated by AAP candidate Jeevan Jyot Kaur from Amritsar East by a margin of 6,750 votes, said, “My goal is the development of Punjab. Asked why he did not campaign for the party across the state, he replied that it was the prerogative of the chief minister, but said he would have done so if anyone asked him.
