In Amritsar, the fight is between Congress’ Navjot Singh Sidhu, SAD leader Bikram Majithia and AAP’s Jeevan Jyot Kaur. Congress MP from Amritsar, Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that people will vote to Sidhu and he will win the election.
The voting for the Assembly election in Punjab is underway on February 20. Polling is held on 117 Assembly seats in Punjab.
Punjab is witnessing a multi-cornered contest among the Congress, AAP, SAD-BSP, BJP-PLC-SAD (Sanyukt) and the Sanyukt Samaj Morcha, a political front of various farmer bodies.
