In the case of remarks against the Aam Aadmi Party, the Punjab Police reached the house of famous poet Kumar Vishwas. Vishwas himself has posted pictures of the police arriving at his Ghaziabad home. A case has been registered against him in the police station Sadar Ropar. A police team reached him to serve the notice and he has been asked to appear before the Ropar police station on April 26.
Ropar SP (D) Harbir Atwal confirmed this. The police asked Vishwas that he had accused Kejriwal of being pro-Khalistan, and cooperate in the investigation by giving evidence in respect of that to the Punjab Police. In the same case, Alka Lamba has also been issued a notice asking her to appear. The special thing is that the police have kept the name of the complainant hidden in this case.

A case has been registered against Kumar Vishwas at Thana Sadar in Ropar district of Punjab. A case has been registered against him under sections 153, 153A, 505, 505(2), 116 r/w, 143, 147, 323, 341, 506 and 120B of IPC and 125 Representation of the People Act. The Punjab Police, under the leadership of Inspector Sumit Mor of Ropar Sadar police station, has received a notice to Kumar’s manager.
Congress leader Alka Lamba has also been included in this FIR. Lamba is also accused of giving provocative statements against Kejriwal by giving interviews in different channels. SP Harbir Singh Atwal of Punjab Police said that FIR number 25 has been registered at Ropar Sadar police station. Political ruckus in Punjab after police went to Vishwas’ house
- Akali Dal spokesperson Charanjit Brar said that Kumar Vishwas has been an old friend of Kejriwal. Today action is being taken against him because of political vendetta. Akali Dal condemns this. It should be investigated who is running the Punjab Police. If someone did something wrong in Delhi, then a case should be registered there.
- Harish Chowdhary said that instead of protecting the public, Kejriwal is asking the use of Punjab Police to harass political opponents. Congress MLA Pargat Singh said that Kejriwal is misusing Punjab Police for his political purpose. The DGP should stop the misuse of the police. He said that the CM of Punjab is Bhagwant Mann and not Arvind Kejriwal.
- Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira condemned the act of political vendetta. He said that what is the difference between Aam Aadmi Party and traditional parties. He appealed to Bhagwant Mann not to use Punjab Police for political vendetta.
