A major breakthrough has been achieved in the operations by the Punjab and Delhi Police against the Khalistani terrorist-gangster nexus, with the arrest of a wanted gangster and a close aide of fugitive Landa Harike, a police official said on Friday.

On the basis of the disclosure of the accused Bhatti, the police arrested another criminal named Kanwaljit Singh, a resident of Makhu, Ferozepur.

The accused Chinna along with one accomplice was arrested near Didar Hotel, Beas, Amritsar Rural. The concerned local police were informed and a team from PS Beas, Amritsar Rural joined the Delhi Police team for a joint operation.

‘Khalistan Zindabad’, ‘Referendum 2020’ painted on walls
