In view of the danger of Corona, the Captain Government of Punjab has taken a big decision regarding government employees. In the Kovid review meeting on Friday, CM Captain Amarinder Singh said that the employee who has not received a single dose of the Kovid vaccine, will be sent on forced leave. The deadline for this has been fixed till September 15. Only those employees will be exempted from this order, who cannot get the vaccine due to health reasons.

Captain Amarinder Singh said that this step has been taken to save the people of Punjab from Corona so that those who have got the Kovid vaccine do not have to pay the price of those who constantly hesitate to get the vaccine. Apart from this, he has allowed those teaching and non-teaching staff to join duty, who have taken a dose of Kovid vaccine at least 4 weeks ago. However, they will have to give a weekly RTPCR negative report of the Kovid test. Those who have any other diseases together and have taken both the doses of Kovid, they will have to give this report only once.

Anganwadi center will open only if the staff is fully vaccinated

Apart from this, the Captain has given permission to the Social Security Department to open Anganwadi Center in Punjab this month. However, for this, it is mandatory for the staff to be vaccinated. Punjab will be the first state in the entire country to open Anganwadi Centre.

At the same time, the Punjab government has extended the restrictions related to Kovid till 30 September. The limit for gathering all types of crowd in the upcoming festival season has been increased to 300. Political rallies and programs have also been included in this. It will be mandatory to keep mask and social distance here too. At the same time, it is mandatory for the staff of such programs to have both doses of the Kovid vaccine.

Captain Amarinder Singh asked DGP Dinkar Gupta to strictly implement the restrictions of Kovid in Punjab. The DGP said that after the corona case has reduced, people are starting to relax regarding the mask. The health department should strictly implement it with the help of the police. The Captain asked Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan to form a Joint Flying Squad of Police and Administration. In every district, such teams will check the rules of Kovid by raiding restaurants, marriage palaces and other such places.
