Jaspinder Singh Bhullar, who secured 33rd rank at All India level in Civil Services Examination.

Jaspinder Singh Bhullar, who belongs to Muktsar district in Punjab, has secured 33rd rank in All India Civil Services Examination-2021. Jaspinder Singh Bhullar’s dream of becoming an IAS officer, who belongs to a farmer family, was fulfilled as soon as the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) results were declared on Monday.

This was Jaspinder Singh Bhullar’s second attempt in the civil services exam. He was confident of getting a good rank this time but did not think that he would make it to the top 50. Jaspinder Singh’s happiness knows no bounds after the results on Monday. On the other hand, there is a wave of happiness in Muktsar Sahib that his son has got a good rank in the civil services examination.

Jaspinder Singh Bhullar is originally from Bhullar village in Muktsar. His father Nachhatar Singh is a simple farmer and mother Navdeep Kaur is a housewife. Jaspinder Singh, who was looking happy after the result, said that he gave the civil services examination for the second time this time. After the exam the interview went very well. He was very sure of passing the examination but did not think about the 33rd rank will come at All India level.

Jaspinder Singh said that he is happy that he has fulfilled the dream of his parents. Along with his parents, he also credits his success to his friend and Karanbir Singh, who was selected in the Delhi Judicial Services. According to Jaspinder, this time Karanbir had a big hand in getting the exam cracked.

mother stayed like a shadow

Jaspinder Singh told that he has been able to reach this position today only because of his mother and father. When Jaspinder thought of shifting to Delhi for coaching, mother Navdeep Kaur was the first to agree to accompany him. During the entire coaching, the mother stayed with him in Delhi, so that his focus was only on studies.

always like to be on top

On the success of the son, his father Nachhatar Singh and mother Navdeep Kaur said that Jaspinder Singh liked to be on top in the examination since childhood. Jaspinder completed BA LLB (Hons) from Panjab University (PU) in Chandigarh in the year 2019. He got to learn a lot while at PU. Jaspinder Singh Bhullar, who was a topper in studies from the beginning, was also the President of PU Moot Court Society.

Selection of 685, in which 180 IAS will be made

IAccording to the result list of UPSC, 685 candidates passed in the Civil Services Examination-2021. Of these, 180 have passed for IAS, 37 for IFS and 200 for IPS. Candidates who have cleared the Civil Services Examination are selected by UPSC on the basis of their performance in three rounds – Prelims Exam, Mains Exam and Interview Round. Apart from these, the claim of 80 candidates is provisional.
