CM Channi stayed at Gurdwara Sahib in Moga.

Punjab’s new CM Charanjit Channi is busy building his ‘aam aadmi’ image away from the VIP glare. On Thursday, he had reached the Congress rally in Moga. Here he had to stay the night, so he reached the Gurdwara Sahib of village Chandpurana. where he stayed the whole night.

During this he did not go to any hotel-rest house or the luxurious house of any party leader. This is not the first time that CM Channi has surprised like this. Even before this, he has tried to create an image by sitting on the pavement, listening to the problems of the people, doing Bhangra, becoming a hockey goalkeeper and talking about his poverty.

CM Channi’s double political bet
Assembly elections are due in Punjab after 3 and a half months. In such a situation, CM Channi is playing double bets in politics by behaving like a common man every day to strengthen the vote bank.

  • The first former CM is destroying the image of the Maharaja of Captain Amarinder Singh so that the atmosphere created against the Congress can be reduced.
  • The second reason is the Aam Aadmi Party and its convener Arvind Kejriwal. Those who do politics in the name of common man.

CM Channi stayed here in 2016 too
In 2016, CM Charanjit Channi was the leader of the opposition party from the Congress side. The Akali-BJP government was in power. Against this government, CM Channi along with supporters took out a cycle tour across Punjab. When this yatra reached Moga, the same Shaheed Baba Tega Singh of CM Channi village Chand Purana stayed in Gurdwara Sahib.

CM Channi said – found refuge in this gurudwara
CM Charanjit Channi said that history is associated with this gurudwara for me. When I took out the cycle tour, there were 2,000 youths. The Akali Dal government did not allow that cycle yatra to stop in any palace. After this we got refuge in this gurudwara. That’s why I stayed in this Gurudwara.
