Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi’s Rajasthan tour has been cancelled. The Rajasthan government had organized a banquet and a felicitation ceremony for him in Jaipur. Channi has become the first Scheduled Caste CM of Punjab. However, it was canceled at the last minute. At the same time, CM Channi will now meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the evening. At the same time, Priyanka Gandhi, the general secretary in charge of Uttar Pradesh, has also been detained. On October 5-6, the All India Congress Committee has announced a nationwide strike-demonstration. Channi showing sharp attitude on farmer issue

CM Charanjit Channi is also showing a sharp attitude on the farmer issue. He reached Raj Bhavan late on Monday evening in connection with the violence in Lakhimpuri Kheri. There he met Governor BL Purohit. He was handed over a demand letter in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding justice to the victims and repeal of the controversial agricultural reform law. In the cabinet meeting held late Monday evening, tributes were paid to the farmers killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

CM did not get permission to visit Lakhimpur Kheri
Chief Minister Charanjit Channi wanted to visit Lakhimpur Kheri to meet the victims. For this, he had sought permission from the Yogi government of UP to land the helicopter. The UP government imposed section 144 in Lakhimpur Kheri, after which even CM Channi was not allowed it.
