Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is going to get married tomorrow. The wedding will take place at the CM House in Chandigarh. She will be married to Dr. Gurpreet Kaur. Bhagwant Mann got divorced from his first wife in 2015. After which the wife went to America. CM Mann has 2 children from his first wife. His sons and daughters live in America. He also attended the swearing-in ceremony of CM Bhagwant Mann as the Chief Minister.
CM Bhagwant Mann is a resident of Dr. Gurpreet Kaur. She is said to be from Hisar in Haryana.
First wife was not happy to join politics
Bhagwant Mann’s first wife was not happy with his entry into politics. Mann had earlier contested from Punjab People’s Party. However he lost the election. However, after that he joined the Aam Aadmi Party. In 2014, when Bhagwant Mann contested the Lok Sabha elections from Sangrur, there was a dispute in the family. Due to which they got divorced in 2015.
Mann had said- I chose Punjab leaving the family
Earlier, Bhagwant Mann had said about his previous divorce that he had to choose between family or Punjab. However, he chose Punjab. He also praised his son Dilshan and daughter Seerat. Mann also praised his first wife for raising children very well.
Kejriwal and Sisodia will come with family
According to sources, Bhagwant Mann is marrying a girl from an ordinary house. Whom his mother and daughter also know very well. MP Raghav Chadha is carrying out the responsibility of the arrangement. Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi’s deputy CM Manish Sisodia will also attend along with the family.
