Punjab Assembly Session: Today the budget grants will be discussed, tomorrow the government will bring a proposal against the Agneepath scheme of army recruitment

The proceedings of the budget session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha will continue even today. Grants will be discussed in the Punjab budget today. The proceedings of the House will begin in the afternoon. After yesterday’s action, the House was adjourned for today. Tomorrow is the last day of the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha.

Tomorrow, on the last day of the session, a resolution against the Agneepath scheme of army recruitment will be brought in the House. This demand was raised by opposition party leader Pratap Bajwa on Tuesday. On which CM Bhagwant Mann also agreed. He said that he will bring a resolution against it.

Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira also raised the issue of banning Sidhu Musewala’s SYL song and Kisan Union’s Twitter account. It was also agreed to be included in the proposal.

Punjab’s budget of 1.55 lakh crores presented
Earlier, Finance Minister Harpal Cheema presented Punjab’s budget of Rs 1.55 lakh crore for 2022-23 in the assembly. He said that this time the budget for education has been increased by 16% and for health by 24%.
