Punjab Assembly Elections: Channi will be the CM face, announced today, Congress released poster on the lines of ‘Pushpa’

The Congress high command has made preparations to announce Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi as its next chief ministerial face in Punjab. Rahul Gandhi, who is reaching Ludhiana on Sunday, will make a formal announcement in this regard. Under this, special posters and hoardings have been prepared for the promotion of Congress about Channi. At the same time, the public interest work done by Channi during his 111-day tenure as Chief Minister has been prominently highlighted in the new posters of the Congress.

It is noteworthy that after assuming the post of Chief Minister, Channi had released detailed lists about his work for first 60 days and then for 100 days. All the work done by Chief Minister Channi during the hundred days, the Congress has planned to redeem it in the Punjab Assembly elections. At present, 23 major works done by Channi have been included in the new posters to attract voters.

Along with this, while Channi is included in the party’s star campaigner list, Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh will also be supported to campaign for Congress candidates in the state. Meanwhile, new posters and hoardings related to Channi’s work have been circulated in all 117 circles by the party. The work of installing them will start on Sunday with the announcement of CM face.

On the other hand, party sources have come to know that the high command is not giving priority to any demand of Sidhu this time in the matter of declaring the CM face. According to the information received by the party, Sidhu’s condition is not looking very good in front of SAD candidate Bikram Singh Majithia in Amritsar seat.

Sidhu’s attitude too tough

At the same time, the attitude of the state head Navjot Singh Sidhu has also become tough as soon as he senses the stand of the high command. Sidhu has now directly targeted the high command regarding this issue. Sidhu has been presenting a strong claim as the next Chief Minister.
