Puneet Rajkumar’s 4-year-old Facebook post about his car accident is viral again

The car accident happened when Puneet was traveling in a Range Rover in Anantapur at 09:30 pm. According to reports, Puneet was returning to Bengaluru after shooting for the film Nata Sarvabhoomi. The tire of the car burst after hitting the stone, causing the driver to lose control. Puneet was in the front seat while others were in the back seat.

Hearing the sound of tyre burst, the people around gathered at the spot. Puneet made it clear to the locals that he was fine. After getting into the other car, he also talked to them. Fans heaved a sigh of relief after learning about Appu’s recovery.

Fans were devastated when Puneet passed away last year. He showered immense love on his posthumously released film James. James was released on 17 March and was a box office success. The film narrates the story of James, also known as Santosh Kumar. James worked as a manager in a security company where he finds himself in a fight against hooligans. Apart from Puneet, Priya Anand, Mika Srikanth, Anu Prabhakar, Sarath Kumar and others were part of Gems. James was written and directed by Chetan Kumar. The film was handled by Kishore Productions.

After Puneet’s death, his yet-to-be-released films Dwitva, Lucky Man and two untitled projects were to be finalised. It was decided that Dwitva and Lucky Man would be released as Puneet had finished shooting for both. For the rest of the projects, Puneet’s nephew Yuva Rajkumar will work in him.
