Lucknow: Excited from Priyanka Gandhi VadraOutspoken embodiment and display of leadership, UP Congress Now she is leaving no stone unturned to make her rally in Varanasi a historic event on Sunday. In a departure from the original plan, which was supposed to launch the party’s 2022 election campaign, the rally will now be dedicated to farmers’ dignity or ‘kisan samman’. It will be called Kisan Nyay Rally.

The party headquarters in Lucknow and Kaul House (Priyanka’s official residence in Lucknow) were busy on Friday. All-India Congress Secretary of the Committee and Advisor to the Chief Minister ChattisgarhRajesh Tiwari is monitoring the activities at the ground level, while UP Congress President Ajay Kumar Lallu and Seva Dal chief Pramod Pandey are coordinating the work.
Sources also said that the Congress leader has issued instructions to fix the responsibility of each task assigned. At the same time, he has asked the members of the organizing committee to ensure the participation of the people involved in the special 26 training sessions.
He said that there is every possibility that Priyanka will bring out the agenda of Vachan during her interaction with the people. The promises will broadly pertain to farmers, unemployed youth, housewives (inflation), women’s security, opportunities for students, public health and the working class.
Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi had discussed with UP Congress office-bearers the route and schedule of the yatra, which will cover a distance of 12,000 km across UP. Covering over 300 seats in the UP assembly, the purpose of the yatra is to take the message of the Congress against the BJP to the masses. The journey is to start from Varanasi on October 10.
