Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently arrived in India with husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a star actress as well as a mother. The actress welcomed a baby girl last year with husband Nick Jonas. They named her Malati. As working parents, the actress revealed how her mother Madhur and mother-in-law Denise take care of the little one when they are away from work. Priyanka also said that because of Madhu and Dennis, she is able to focus completely on her work.
In an interview with ABC’s The View, Priyanka admitted that after Malti was born, she re-prioritised her life. She said, “Definitely. I was really grateful that it happened to me at a time when I had the ability to pin it down. Not everyone has the ability to say ‘Hey I’m going to go to work’ or Take a year off but I did. I took a year off and I am one of those who have done four films in a year because I am greedy. I don’t want anyone else to do this job if I don’t get it again . I still have that energy. But it doesn’t matter when she comes. She’s my mark of respect. Wherever I go I want to come back home. She’s with me everywhere. She’s in New York now Which means my mother has worked everywhere.
She also said that she does not go to work when someone in the family is taking care of her daughter or is around. He shared that Madhu ‘loves it though’. The actress shared that she and Nick have “so much support to be able to do their jobs” because of their moms.
When asked about Malti’s recent visit, the actress shared, “It meant everything. She loved everything about India, the sights, the sounds, the fact that you don’t need car seats. I was like, ‘Oh boy, getting her back in the car seat is going to be an issue’. She loved everything. He had right hand cheese and left hand cheese in his mouth and ‘mmmmm’. Loved the Indian food, loved the sights, loved the sounds. It made me so happy that we could be there as a family—Nick, me and the baby, went. It was very special.” Priyanka, Nick and Malti visited India together last month.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in Love Again alongside Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. The film is scheduled to release on May 12, 2023. He is also accompanied by Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara. The film is touted to be a road-trip film similar to Akhtar’s hit film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara which also starred Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol.
