Priyanka Chopra Jonas has come out in support of comedian-actor Vir Das, who took a dig at people mocking and mocking Indians for choreographing his moves on some. Bollywood Songs.
Priyanka, who shared a month-old video of Veer, wrote on her Instagram story, “Speak the truth @virdas”. The video shows Veer and is seen talking about the recent trends on Instagram reels and TikTok where users dance to random popular songs and songs. In the video, he said, “Think about it for a second. For years, Bollywood songs have been shot in crowded places, tourist destinations. So we Indians would go to these crowded places and suddenly listen to music. Started doing choreographed steps and lip syncing and everyone including some Indians would be like, ‘What’s up with these Indians?’ Now, years later all you do is go to Instagram and TikTok crowded places and do choreographed steps lip syncing songs you never sang. You are not original.”
The original video is getting a lot of reactions and netizens are seen debating the idea of Veer. While the majority agreed and agreed on what Veer had to say, there were some who believed that the material was not genuine.
