Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Twitter account was hacked late Saturday night. After which a tweet related to bitcoin was made on Twitter. However, soon this tweet was withdrawn from the official Twitter handle of the Prime Minister. His account is now completely secure. In this case, the PMO has issued an announcement asking people to ignore any tweet during hacking.
The PMO has said, ‘PM Modi’s Twitter handle has been tampered with. The matter has been taken to Twitter and the account has been ensured immediately. Any tweets sent in the momentary period when the account was compromised should be ignored. A tweet related to bitcoin was posted on the PM’s Twitter account at 2:07 pm, which was immediately deleted. Another tweet was made in the same period. That too was deleted then. Then at 2:11 pm, a third similar tweet was made which stayed for a while.
