Prime Minister in Mumbai: Modi was awarded the first Lata Deenanath Mangashkar Award, said – Didi’s contribution to nation building

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was today honored with the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award instituted in the memory of Swar Kokila Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived to attend the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award held at Shanmukhanand Hall, Mumbai. Today is the 80th death anniversary of Lata Mangeshkar’s father Master Dinanath Mangeshkar. Modi first paid floral tributes to the photo of Lata didi and her parents. Mangeshkar family members were present on the stage in the ceremony. Modi had an intimate discussion with him.
