Surveillance officers will be appointed in each affected area for speedy distribution of relief material. “While evacuating the affected people, priority should be given to the elderly, disabled, pregnant women and children,” the chief minister said.
Teams should be kept ready to remove uprooted trees and fallen electric poles and restore power supply, while boats should be ready to rescue people. NDRF and SDRF personnel should be deployed in advance at required places.
