1. Salute to Freedom Fighters

2. Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas
The President said, “This mutual trust, coordination and cooperation between the government and the citizens is an unprecedented example of the power of democracy. For this I congratulate every health and front line worker of the country, every countryman. My government, Sabka Saath, Moving towards building a strong India by walking on development for all.

3. Created a record of administering the vaccine
He said that in the circumstances of Corona epidemic, mutual trust is building between our government and citizens. We have set a record of more than 150 crore vaccines in less than a year. More than 70% of the people in the country have taken a single dose. In the same month, the vaccine is also being given to adolescent girls above 15 years of age. Precaution dosage is also being given. The vaccine made in India is being used all over the world.

4. Biggest Food Distribution Program underway
The President said, “With the help of Ayushman Health Mission, more than 80 thousand health and wellness centers have been opened. The government has set up more than 8,000 Jan Aushadhi Kendras. Products of Indian pharma companies are reaching 180 countries. Demand is increasing. World’s first WHO Center of Traditional Medical Health is being started in India. In Corona we have seen food tragedy in big countries, but our government did not let it happen. Our government is the world’s largest Food distribution program.

5. Steps taken for farmers and workers
The President said that Swanidhi Rozgar Yojana is also being run in the country. E-shram portal has also been started for the workers. Despite the constraints of the pandemic, a large number of homes have been connected to taps. Women have benefited the most from this. 1.30 crore farmers were benefitted by the purchase of Kharif crops. During the year 2020-21, exports reached around 3 lakh crores. More than one lakh crore rupees have been given to more than 8 crore farmers of the country. During the Corona period, the government ran trains for perishable things like vegetables, fruits and milk.

The President also mentioned about raising the age of marriage for girls and triple talaq law.

6. Women were empowered
He said, “Women empowerment is one of the major schemes of the government. Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao has already yielded good results. The society accepted the government’s decision to raise the age of marriage of daughters at par with that of boys. The country has Gender inclusiveness has been promoted in the education policy of the NDA. Girls will get a place in Sainik Schools, the first batch of women in NDA will come in June.”

7. The world saw India’s potential in Tokyo
He said that during the Tokyo Olympics, we have seen the capabilities of India. India won 7 medals in it. India also won 19 medals in Paralympics. To provide good training to para players, the government has set up a Center for Disability in Gwalior.

8. Work done on Startup, MSME and Infrastructure
Kovind said, “More than 40 unicorn startups came into existence. India is also working fast in the direction of technology. The government has opened doors of entry in many new sectors. The country is again one of the fastest growing economies of the world. Foreign investment in the country is increasing continuously. Foreign investment of $ 48 billion has come in the first 7 months. Recent schemes have given to 1.3 million MSMEs. To speed up infrastructure-development works. The work of different ministries has been clubbed together under the Prime Minister’s Ministry of Dynamics.

9. Improved connectivity in the country
He said that today the National Highways of the country are connecting from East to West and North to South. The length of highways in the country has increased. The government is modernizing the railways at a fast pace. India has today joined the world’s four largest driverless train countries. A total of 11 waterways have been declared as National Waterways under the Sagarmala Project.

10. Progress in the field of Space, Defense and Drones
Kovind also mentioned issues like defense and drones. Said that the sky of unlimited possibilities has been prepared by opening the space to the private sector. The government is also working fast regarding drone technology. The country’s productivity in the defense sector is continuously increasing. The government has prepared a list of 209 such items, which will not be bought from abroad.
