President Ram Nath Kovind is in Lucknow on Monday. He will address a joint special session of the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council in the Amrit Festival of Independence in a short time. President Ram Nath Kovind has reached the assembly from Raj Bhavan. This is the first time that a President will address a joint session of both the Houses of the Legislature on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav.
The President reached Lucknow on Sunday evening. Deputy CM Keshav Maurya and Brajesh Pathak received him at the airport.
Lunch at Raj Bhavan in honor of the President
After addressing the joint session, the President will go back to the Raj Bhavan. Lunch is kept in his honor at the Raj Bhavan itself. After this, the President will return from Lucknow late in the evening.
3 President is on UP tour since June
President Ram Nath Kovind is on a visit to UP from June 3. On June 3, he reached Kanpur Dehat. On 4th he went to Gorakhpur. Reached Varanasi from Gorakhpur on 5th June. Reached Lucknow on June 5 from Varanasi at 7:30 pm. After this, the night rest was done at Lucknow Raj Bhavan.
President was in Varanasi on Sunday
President Ram Nath Kovind had reached Varanasi on Sunday with wife Savita Kovind. Before this went to the guest house of Banaras Rail Engine Factory (BLW). After resting here, he reached Baba Vishwanath Dham with his wife in the evening. Here he did darshan and worship.
