The leaders of all the major opposition parties are not only united for declaring a common candidate but have also agreed for a common candidate. Political experts believe that if a consensus is reached on a common candidate for the post of President, the country’s main opposition parties’ grand meeting on Wednesday will also be seen as a “foundation of solidarity” for the Lok Sabha elections.

Opposition parties meeting on June 15
The crucial meeting of opposition parties to be held at Constitution Club on Wednesday is considered to be the most important in view of the presidential election. According to the leaders associated with the major opposition parties, the plan is that all the parties come together to form a consensus and declare the presidential candidate within the next 10 days. For this, all the opposition parties including Mamta Banerjee and Sonia Gandhi are already engaged in forming a united opinion. Several rounds of talks have also taken place in this regard with many leaders. If sources are to be believed, a prominent senior leader of the country, who reached the Rajya Sabha as an independent candidate in recent times, is also trying to unite everyone in this whole matter. However, nothing has been decided as of now whether all the parties will be of one opinion or not. But the stand of all the parties in this whole matter seems positive. In such a situation, if sources are to be believed, the presidential candidate can be announced collectively by the opposition parties within the next 10 days after the general meeting to be held on Wednesday. However, for this some prominent possible faces of different parties are also being discussed. But only the consensus formed on all these after the meeting to be held on Wednesday will be considered important.
