Preity’s Cannes comeback comes before her comeback in Bollywood with Lahore 1947. Amid this anticipation, a sneak peek of the actress’ look was unveiled recently and she looked ethereal in a white dress.
Preity Zinta opted for a shimmery white dress for her comeback at Cannes. The dress featured bow details around the sleeves. Preity kept her look simple yet chic. Preity Zinta will present the Pierre Angenieux Award to renowned Indian cinematographer Santosh Sivan at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. She starred in Dil Se, in which Santosh Sivan was the cinematographer. They’re also working together in Lahore 1947.
Preity Zinta is currently busy with the shoot of the movie with Sunny Deol, Lahore 1947. The actress, who is making her big-screen comeback after many years, shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of the Rajkumar Santoshi directorial earlier. Taking to her official Instagram account, Preity posted the pics and wrote, “On set for Lahore 1947,” accompanied by ‘new movie’ and ‘shooting’ hashtags. ‘Lahore 1947’ is being produced by Aamir Khan.
She has been sharing a lot of updates from the set. Recently also, Preity shared a photo revealing what helps her survive late-night shoots. Taking to her Instagram stories, Preity Zinta shared a photo of Jalebi and wrote, “The sweetest way to survive late-night shoots.”
Preity Zinta and Sunny Deol have previously collaborated on multiple films like Hero: The Love Story of a Spy, Farz, and Bhaiyaji Superhit. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi is also a part of ‘Lahore 1947. Director Rajkumar Santoshi recently revealed that her character plays a pivotal role in the period film. Rajkumar Santoshi also revealed that AR Rahman and Javed Akhtar would also be in the film. He said that this is his best ‘dream team’.
