Last year, the actor-director had informed News18 in an interview that his fans were upset seeing the Salman Khan-starrer Radhe as he had a small role in the film. The actor said that he has reached this stage only after doing small roles and he wants to have a relationship with Salman Bhai.

Praveen said that cinema should be a medium to help the weaker sections of the society get justice. He also directed the 2018 Marathi drama film Mulshi Pattern, which was later adapted into Salman Khan starrer Antim: The Final Truth.

The Mulshi pattern is based on the events that took place in Mulshi, Pune and depicts the struggle of the farmers and their relationship with the criminals.
