Pratapgarh: Two persons including a police constable were killed in a head-on collision of motorcycles. Pratapgarhpolice said on Saturday.
He told that one person was also injured in this accident that took place in Khampur village of Khandai police station area on Friday evening.
Station in-charge (SHO) Satyendra Singh said constable Pravesh Saroj (30), posted in Sultanpur district, had come home for Holi and was going somewhere on his motorcycle on Friday. Their motorcycles collided head-on with each other on the Pratapgarh-Patti road.
Pravesh got seriously injured in the accident along with Gautam (24) and Vinay (22) who were riding on another motorcycle, they said.
All three were taken to the hospital, where Pravesh and Anil were declared brought dead. Police said the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
