Priyanka’s strong image raised hope among Congress supporters
Congress MPs Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra reached Lakhimpur Kheri late on Wednesday night. Here the Congress delegation met the families of the farmers killed in the violence. Here he met the family of farmer Lovepreet (20). Lovepreet’s parents Rahul started crying after seeing Priyanka. After this, Rahul-Priyanka hugged Lovepreet’s parents and hugged her on her chest.

Earlier, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi had left for Lakhimpur Kheri soon after the incident, but was taken into custody by the Uttar Pradesh Police. After this Priyanka was kept in the guest house of Sitapur. In the guest house, Priyanka had protested against her detention by planting a broom.

Violence broke out in Lakhimpur on October 3
On Sunday, October 3, farmers had shown black flags protesting against Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra. During this, a car had crushed the farmers. Due to this, 4 farmers had died. After this, in the violence that erupted, it is alleged that the farmers had beaten to death four people, including a driver. A journalist was also killed in this violence.

In this case, a case of murder and criminal conspiracy has been registered against 15 people including Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni. An agreement was reached between the government and the farmers. The government gave a compensation of Rs 45 lakh to the family of the deceased. A member has also been promised a government job along with a judicial inquiry into the incident and the arrest of the accused in 8 days.
