Prakash Raj’s callsheet halts ‘Viruman’ shooting within a month

The crew of “Viruman” recently had to return to Chennai without completing the planned shoot for the film after South actor Prakash Raj had a call sheet problem.

The shooting of “Virumaan” began on September 18 in Theni and was supposed to last for some time. The shooting was also done in a very long schedule. However, in the initial days, several issues surfaced during the shoot. As per the sources, actor Prakash Raj did not join the shoot mainly due to a problem with the call sheet, thus, the crew had to return to Chennai.

Meanwhile, no information has been shared by the makers of the film about the resumption of shooting.

The film’s lead actor Karthi had recently completed shooting for his part in another upcoming film “Ponniyin Selvan”, directed by Mani Ratnam, after which the actor moved on to his next project “Viruman” directed by director Muttiah.

Aditi Shankar, daughter of South director Shankar, will be seen playing the lead role alongside Karthi. Aditi is making her debut in the industry with this film.

The film is jointly produced by Suriya and Jyothika under their home banner 2D Entertainment. The music of the film is given by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The film is a rural drama, which will be shot in and around South Tamil Nadu, especially Theni. It is a family entertainer and talks about relationships and the importance of family. Apart from Karthi, Aditi and Prakash Raj, the film stars actors Raj Kiran and Suri in pivotal roles.
