Prachi Desai has come a long way from Tele Industry to Bollywood. He has impressed everyone with his impeccable journey. Prachi returned to films last year with Silence, followed by another thriller Forensic and impressed her fans.

Recently, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the Bol Bachchan actress talked about the challenges faced by her image over the years. Prachi recalled how she was once told that she was “too beautiful” for a role.

Prachi Desai plays a psychoanalyst with a deep mystery in her recently released Forensics. His acting is being praised by his fans and critics as well. While talking to HT, Prachi revealed that she has always wanted such roles and feels that OTT platforms are a place where actors can take big risks.

Known as sweet and humble, Prachi has played the first negative role in her career. The actress said that before the arrival of the streaming platform, she had to face many hurdles because of her on-screen image and looks. “In the past, if there was a role like this or nature, they always thought I had too soft a face for it. I’m so beautiful so what do you do with it? No one really knew how they could turn this to their advantage. In the end, the cross-casting is really commendable,” she said.

Prachi also recalled a recent incident and said that she was told that she was “too beautiful” for the role. “I heard this a while back before forensics came out. It was an interesting role and someone from the stage said, ‘Don’t you think she’s too beautiful for this?’, he added. Prachi thanks the director for not doubting her acting skills that she is very beautiful. Although she didn’t know what the right reaction would be for her, she certainly wasn’t going to take it negatively. The actress is happy as the feedback helps her improve.

Apart from Prachi Desai, the forensics also stars Vikrant Massey, Radhika Apte and Rohit Roy.
