The handsome hunk of South Industry Prabhas is creating waves with his stellar performances and blockbuster movies. The actor is gearing up for his next high-octane action film ‘Salaar’ with Prashant Neel. Prabhas has a huge fan following in the country. There is huge excitement among his fans regarding his upcoming release. Meanwhile, a recent report claims that the overseas rights have been sold for a huge amount, which is equivalent to RRR.
As per buzz, the overseas rights of Salaar have been sold for Rs 90-100 crore. If the buzz is anything to go by, with such a huge figure, the Prabhas-starrer tops the list of Tollywood films with the most overseas rights deals. If reports are to be believed, Prabhas’ Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has topped the list with Rs 70 crore. While SS Rajamouli’s RRR remains at the second spot with Rs 68 crore, Prabhas’ Saaho is at the third spot with Rs 42 crore. Then, Chhatrapati actor starrer Radhe Shyam is at the fourth spot with Rs 25 crore.
Directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, the film is a highly anticipated action-thriller starring the Telugu superstar in the lead. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, the film also stars Shruti Haasan in the lead. Over the years, the overseas market has become an important revenue source for Indian films. With the Indian diaspora spread across countries like USA, UK, UAE and Australia, many films are earning huge amount of money overseas.
