Postpone JEE Main 2023: Students demand Mains session 1 to be delayed, 75% criteria to be removed, hearing on 10 Jan

jee main 2023: National Testing Agency has released the dates of JEE Main 2023. As per the website, JEE Main 2023 Session 1 for Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) will be conducted on 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 January 2023. Good with the candidates as they did not expect NTA to announce the exam dates before a month and they expected the session to be held in the month of April 1st. Also the students are upset as they claim that the gap between the practicals of JEE Main Exam and Board Exams is very less which makes it difficult for them to give their best as both are important exams, students across the country have started JEE Postponed. Have taken the support of Twitter to do this. Mains 2023 January session exam till April 2023 due to which ‘JEEAfterBoards’ is trending on Twitter.

Stating that there is less time to prepare for engineering entrance exams and the current dates are clashing with CBSE Board Exams 2023, the students have also filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, seeking postponement of the January session. The petition has also challenged the 75% criteria to be eligible for JEE Main 2023. Now, the Bombay High Court will now hear a plea to postpone the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 and withdraw the 75 per cent eligibility criteria on January 10, 2023. Court has given time to the petitioner to file JEE Main 2023 brochure.
